So I happened to watch the Indy 500 yesterday and it was more exciting than any NASCAR race I've seen combined. It probably seems really foolish to race fans for me to compare F1 with NASCAR, but that's the kind of assumptions you get from a liberal yahoo who's into micro-brews. Regardless, I have seen the light, so to speak, and I think I have found a new interest in F1 racing.
In a purse that guaranteed a cool $2.5 million, Scott Dixon--of the Target Ganassi team--pulled out the victory somewhat convincingly. The race, however, was not without intensity. These guys (and lady) tore up the track, accounting for some exciting lead changes, wall-slamming, race-ending accidents, and some pit drama that led to Danica Patrick's early exit. All in all the whole race was exciting, which is the reason I never watch NASCAR. It's the only last couple laps that I ever found interesting of the Daytona 500.
Anyone know what channel SPEED is?

Yeah, but how much moonshine can those F1 cars carry across the county line?
